Delete Your Studio Zero Account

Quick Summary

You can delete your Studio Zero account at any time directly from the app: Settings tab → Delete Account. You must be signed in. All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Active App Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your iPhone's Settings.

Step-by-Step: Delete Your Account in the App

  1. Open Studio Zero on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Sign in if you aren't already logged in. Account deletion is only available to signed-in users so we can verify it's really you.
  3. Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  4. Scroll to the Account section and tap "Delete Account".
  5. Read the confirmation dialog carefully. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  6. Confirm the deletion. Your account is immediately locked and the deletion process begins.

That's it. The whole process takes about 60 seconds.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your Studio Zero account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days:

  • Your email address and account credentials
  • All product photos you have generated using Studio Zero, stored on our servers
  • All photos you have uploaded for AI processing
  • Your generation history and usage statistics
  • Subscription records and preferences
  • Any saved templates, favorites, or presets
  • Customer support tickets and conversation history
  • Device identifiers associated with your account

What May Be Retained (and Why)

We retain only the minimum data required by law or for legitimate business purposes. None of this data can be linked back to your identity:

  • Anonymized transaction records — for up to 7 years where required by tax and accounting law (no personal identifiers retained)
  • Aggregated usage analytics — anonymized and not linkable to individuals
  • Anti-fraud signals — minimal hashed device signals retained for fraud prevention; cannot be reversed to identify you

All other data is permanently deleted.

How Long Does Deletion Take?

  • Immediate: Your account is locked. You can no longer sign in or access generated content.
  • Within 24 hours: Active sessions and cached data on our edge servers are purged.
  • Within 30 days: All data is permanently deleted from our primary systems and backups, including any third-party processors we use (per their documented retention policies).

Cancel Your Subscription Separately

⚠️ Important: Subscriptions Are Managed by Apple

Deleting your Studio Zero account does NOT cancel your App Store subscription. Apple manages all subscription billing and we cannot cancel it on your behalf. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find Studio Zero in the list
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

If you delete your account but don't cancel your subscription, you will continue to be billed by Apple. Always cancel your subscription before deleting your account.

Can't Sign In? Delete via Email

If you can't sign in to the app (forgot password, lost device, account locked), you can still request account deletion by emailing:

Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request" and send from the email address associated with your Studio Zero account. We'll verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

What If I Change My Mind?

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm, your data cannot be recovered.

If you reinstall Studio Zero or create a new account later, it will be treated as a brand new account with no connection to your previous one. Previously generated images and history will not be restored.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to be signed in to delete my account?

Apple App Store guidelines and basic security require that account deletion is performed by the actual account owner. Requiring sign-in proves it's really you and prevents anyone with physical access to your phone from deleting your account without your knowledge.

Will deleting my account affect generated images I've already downloaded?

No. Images you have already downloaded to your iPhone or iPad photo library are yours and remain on your device. Only the copies stored on our servers (linked to your account) are deleted.

Do I need to delete my account to stop using Studio Zero?

No. You can simply uninstall the app from your device. Your account remains dormant. Deletion is only required if you want to permanently remove your personal data from our systems.

Is there a 'pause' or 'deactivate' option?

No. Studio Zero does not currently offer account deactivation — only permanent deletion. If you want to take a break, simply stop using the app or cancel your subscription. Your data remains until you choose to delete.

Is my data shared with third parties?

Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling. In short: we use minimal third-party services (analytics, payment processing, cloud storage) and do not sell your data.
